25.01.2022 The Carwoola Community Association Committee is meeting with Kristy McBain next Monday 7th September to discuss issues that are significant to our local community and under at least some Federal government influence. The Committee is taking suggestions of topics that you feel Kristy can help us to overcome or achieve. If there is a particular topic of interest to you, please respond to [email protected] by Sunday evening 6th September. The Committee will report directly back to the individual(s) who raised the topic and there will be a general report of the outcome of the meeting with Kristy in the Gazette, on the community FB pages, this email list and on the CCA website.

17.01.2022 Deck the gates - honorable mentions Dianne Willis - we couldn't go past the wine (we also thought your gate was pretty awesome!) ... the wine will be opened at the next CCA committee meeting, all welcome! Kathleen and Phil Revill - if there had been a "sweetest" category, your pink flamingos would definitely have won it. Jeromie and Lynette Walls - Pipped at the post by Sue and Joe Tully. We liked the kids' contributions. Melanie Lenaghan - gotta love the giant star!... For those wondering where to go to look at gates, we recommend going for a drive through: - Douglas Close - Knox Close (detour to Bowen Drive too) - Widgiewa Rd (and Whiskers Creek Rd) Also a personal appreciation from myself - Holly Ayling for being the only entrant from outside Carwoola! (Still within the competition boundaries )
