07.01.2022 Esperance inland and coastal zones are forecast to have VERY HIGH fdi tomorrow and SEVERE fdi on Tuesday. With temperatures forecast to reach 40 with 30km northerly winds please consider your need to burn over the next few days and all recent fires will need to be monitored as well. While we are in open burning season you still have full responsibility for your fires. Weather conditions will be monitored for possible movement bans if required. Thanks

06.01.2022 Shire of Esperance advises Dept of Fire & Emergency Services has declared a TOTAL FIRE BAN for the Shire of Esperance; Tuesday, 30 March 2021. Total Fire Ban is effective from Midnight tonight to Midnight Tuesday night 30/3/21 This means NO hot works, NO camping/cooking fires. Gas BBQ's are permitted. Agricultural activities can continue until a Harvest & Vehicle Movement Ban is imposed by the Shire.
