The Victorian premier has made his announcement today, and while it sounds like we are able to reopen the clinic from tomorrow, some further clarification is required. 23.01.2022 At this stage Casey Remedial Therapies is remaining open. We are awaiting news from our association to see if there are any changes we need to make and will keep you up to date with any new information we receive. 21.01.2022 We have noticed over the past couple of months a huge increase in clients suffering from tension headaches and neck and shoulder pain. This hasnt surprised us at all considering the stress people are currently under and the changes many of you have had to make by working from home. We are devastated we cant treat you over the stage 4 lockdown but here are some stretches that may help get you through. 15.01.2022 We have just received the news that unfortunately Myotherapy and Remedial massage are not included in the list of Allied health professionals that can start treating again. Our associations are fighting hard to get this decision overturned but at this stage it’s looking like we won’t be reopening until November 1st. For those of you with an appointment between now and then, I will be in touch a couple of days prior to your appointment to reschedule, but in the meantime we are crossing our fingers our opening date can be brought forward. We are so sorry to those of you who are in desperate need of a treatment but please give the clinic a call if there is anything we can help you with over the phone.

06.01.2022 We would like to wish our brand new therapist Louise a warm welcome. Louise has over 20 years experience in the health and fitness industry. During this time she has managed and run the health and wellness area of a leisure centre. Within this area she has undertaken a variety of trainings including Pilates Mat and Reformer. She has trained and worked with a wide variety of people with various injuries that she has helped rehab. She has held a qualification in deep tissue... massage for 25 years and upgraded that qualification to a diploma in Remedial massage with the added modalities of cupping and dry needling. During her time in the industry she has found that she has an affinity for helping people rehab injuries, using different massage techniques including, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, deep and soft tissue massage, METs and stretching. Using her knowledge in exercise she can also prescribe exercise and stretches to be performed at home to assist in the improvement of many conditions. Louise is also able to perform relaxation, sports and lymphatic drainage massage. She will be working Wednesday and Fridays.
