25.01.2022 Under 18 boys in action at the Victorian Track Relay Championships

25.01.2022 Hello all, Stuart and I have been involved in online Zoom meetings held by Athletics Victoria this week. Hosted by CEO Glen Turner and involving AV board members and representatives from clubs across the state. Few key points to mention - AV fees should be reduced compared to previous years. All going well with the COVID stats, we should be able to get back into the Track & Field season in November. AVSL will have 10 rounds and a final. There will be 4 metro venues running a...t the same time with the same events. We are in the Venue 4 section where we will host meets alternating with Frankston every other week. They are looking at Saturday comps however have mentioned we may move to Sunday comps to avoid clashing with Little Aths on Saturdays. There is a possibility some events won't be able to run due to hygiene issues. AV will elaborate on this. Athletics Victoria will release a press release tomorrow (Friday) with further details. Stay safe and continue to do the right thing. Shaun See more

23.01.2022 Come down to Casey North Bunnings and grab a sausage and support Casey Cardinia Athletics

21.01.2022 Hello all, hope you are all well especially given the current environment. Looking forward to the upcoming seasons, being XCR & 2020/21 Track & Field, registration is now up and running (pun intended) on the Aths Vic member portal. We have been contacted by Athletics Victoria and they have advised that members should renew (or register for the first time) their AV & Club registration as that will provide athletes and coaches with insurance for any training they undertake. Mem...bers can then add their package later on once the restirctions implemented have been lifted. This allows AV to more accurately revise their fees for what the packages will consist of. In short, you will not be able to add a package with your registration at this time, however we strongly encourage our members to renew their memberships. Take care and look after one another through this challenging time CCA committee See more

21.01.2022 As part of the ‘Leaders in Clubs’ segment, Athletics Victoria caught up with Casey Cardinia Athletics President, Stuart Merrick. Regularly fielding teams in the... AVSL format, Merrick fondly notes the club’s Under 18 Men’s first Shield Final win in 2013/14 as his favourite experience with the club. Read more here: https://bit.ly/2ZJPkLE

09.01.2022 We ask athletes to hold off from registering for the new season for now as Athletics Victoria is working on their new AVSL packages for the Summer season. They ...expect this to be completed by November 5th. We are also waiting from City of Casey Council in regards to using Casey Fields for club training. We will keep you up to date with both matters as soon as we know more. Stay safe and continue to look after eachother. CCA committee. See more
