22.01.2022 To all MSFC players and supporters, On behalf of the MSFC we have another XMAS present for you! The club in conjunction with our great sponsor Fleurieu Milk have been working with a company called LeadLearn to develop a program to build on and develop our club’s current and future Leaders. ... LeadLearn is a company that has recently worked in this area with the likes of the Aussie Cricket Team, Richmond FC, Adelaide FC, Western Bulldogs FC and the Greater Western Sydney FC just to name a few. LeadLearn has committed Scott Camporeale (Campo) as the person dedicated to our club working with Scotty Olgivie and a Ryan Kelly with a 3rd spot up for grabs. This will involve Campo not only working with these boy’s off field but also working with them on game day whether it be sitting with Kel’s in the box or with Scotty O during the breaks etc. Image For those who don’t know much about Campo he was a premium midfielder for both Essendon and the Carlton FC in the 90’s playing over 250 AFL games including a Premiership, Best & Fairest, All Australian and then as an assistant Coach with the Adelaide FC before taking the Head coaching role after the passing of Phil Walsh. The fact that Rory Sloan came out and said that Campo had been the greatest influence on his career provides some insight into what where in for. So as you can see this is a great opportunity for not only the players participating but for all involved with our club and demonstrates further the commitment of our club in achieving long term success. Below is some further feedback from coaches who have been involved in the LeadLearn Cycle: "The LeadLearn Cycle, implemented by LeadLearn Consulting, has surpassed my expectations. I know it's had a real impact on our coaches and the players’ learning." Damien Hardwick - Head Coach, Richmond Football Club "LeadLearn Consulting has had a very positive impact on our entire coaching group. The LeadLearn Cycle that we participated in has really helped our teaching techniques, which in turn has helped our players understand the way we want to play football." Leon Cameron - Head Coach, Greater Western Sydney Football Club Bringing LeadLearn Consulting into our environment has been a very important exercise. We received valuable feedback and perspective in relation to how we coach and teach. These insights from Matt not only gave us some confidence in what we are doing, but also an awareness of where we can improve. It was also important that we received some practical tips and take aways to enhance what we do. I am pleased to say that LeadLearn delivered on this. I can highly recommend LeadLearn Consulting for your organisation. Luke Beveridge - Head Coach, The Western Bulldogs Football Club Merry Christmas MSFC
