18.01.2022 Hello my name is Monique and I am Grant and Sonya’s daughter. I try to keep this page updated and sometimes I don’t do a very good job I wanted to share something with you all. Firstly thank you to all our beautiful, loyal and friendly customers. We are truly blessed that you take the time to visit us. Just last week we had some customers drive from Toowoomba to purchase wine as they knew Carnival of Flowers wouldn’t be like it has been in the past. What a lovely thing to d...o and Mum and Dad were very thankful. Mum and Dad won’t like that I’m putting this out their but they are hard working farmers that have gone through some tough times, during the drought they had to purchase water in excess of $50k and more spent on feed for the horses and cattle. They never complain they just get things done. My sister, brother and their grandchildren are very proud of them. The granite belt have done it tough but they keep getting up every day to keep their farms and wineries going and they are thankful for your support. What really distresses me is when customers come and take their frustrations out on my parents. 1/Last week a customer took their frustrations out on my Mum because google maps took them the wrong way! He was so rude which breaks my heart because Mum is so kind to everyone ! 2/ We also charge a $10 tasting fee that’s refundable when you purchase wine. Please try and give a thought to all the work that goes into making the wine, serving, the amount of wine you get to taste (often more than a standard glass) and the COVID clean up before you enter and after you leave. Please remember your manners and treat my parents with the respect they give and they deserve. Thanks for reading if you got to the end of this longer than usual post. See more
