23.01.2022 COVID-19 continues to be detected in wastewater from Adelaide CBD North (B11 wastewater catchment area). We do not believe the detection is a result of medi-hot...els. There is the possibility that the positive results could be due to people with historic cases shedding the virus, especially due to the large number of interstate travellers attending events in the east end. Anyone who has been in the Adelaide city area in the last week - whether for work, rest or play - should get tested if they have any symptoms of COVID-19, no matter how mild. Symptoms can include: - fever or chills - cough - sore throat - runny nose - shortness of breath - loss of taste or smell - diarrhoea - vomiting. To find a testing location visit www.sahealth.sa.gov.au/COVIDtesting or call 1800 253 787. Testing wastewater can help provide early warning of undetected active cases in the community. Find more information on the testing program at www.sahealth.sa.gov.au/COVIDwastewater
