17.01.2022 Today is World Mental Health Day, and we would like to take this opportunity to be a part of raising awareness for this very important issue. Mental Illness ca...n have many causes, and as allied health professionals, podiatrists see first hand the impact that poor foot health, and the pain and immobility that can accompany it can have on mental health. With 1 in 5 Australians affected by mental illness, now is the time to break the stigma and start talking about it. So let's spread the message and support each other. As the World Mental Health Day messaging states: "Life isn’t just about getting through things on your own. It’s not about pushing yourself to the limit. You can’t handle everything on your own, and it’s completely okay."
