For the adults there is fitness equip...ment stations designed to motivate all levels of fitness abilities. Connected by a digital app, connecting you to local trainers in the area. The park is surrounded by shaded table and seating areas as well as shady trees to set up a picnic blanket under. The playground is not fenced, parking is off street and costs to park Monday-Friday 8am till 5pm $2.50per hr for up to 2hrs, but free weekends. The playground provides equipment for all abilities with a small and large slide, climbing nets, seesaw, flying fox, swings and monkey bars covered by large shade sails. Toilets are located close to the playground, as well as BBQ facilities, tables and benches shaded by surrounding trees. The park is quite large and has a walking path which goes right around the lakes, perfect for joggers, cyclists, roller ...bladders, dog walkers and mums with prams! The lake provides a great place to set up for a picnic, say hello to the local wildlife or even try your hand fishing. As with all water areas in Darwin BE AWARE that there may be crocodiles, some of the playground is not fenced and it fairly close to the water, this is also the case for some of the path way which comes close to both the water and road.
