21.01.2022 Residents at Blue Cross Livingstone Gardens in Vermont South received a surprise ‘virtual visit’ this week from CatholicCare Spiritual Director, Fr Gerard Dowling. Fr Dowling joined ex-CatholicCare staff member John McCarthy, to lead a weekly prayer service via Skype. For the Livingstone residents, after many weeks of lockdown, it was like an old friend coming home, said John.

04.01.2022 Today on World AIDS Day, our HIV/AIDS Group have released their very own song, Sparks of Beauty! We recorded it as a group of [HIV] positive people, said Mary* one of the group members who participated in the song. It is about us; how we feel when we are together; what we mean to each other; how we support each other through the dark times and how we celebrate the good times together. World AIDS Day raises awareness across the world about HIV and AIDS. It is also an oppor...tunity for us as a community to come together and show support for people living with HIV and to commemorate people who have died of AIDS related conditions or other conditions associated with HIV.
