23.01.2022 As one door closes another opens and so we welcome 2021 with open arms. It’s been a weird ol’ time but certainly a creative one and we want to wish everyone a healthy, happy and musical new year and look forward to seeing you at a gig soon for a drink and a smile. Love, Gillian & Eliot.

22.01.2022 This is the first song we ever wrote together about 17 years ago called Lost For Words. We are not gigging or getting paid to play at present, as so many of our friends aren’t either. We are happy to play for nothing at home but all full time musicians need to make a living. If you see a band you love playing a live to air gig, please give what you can, and if you like our music (band name: Sideshow Annie) and aren’t doing it too tough yourself, perhaps you’d like to purchase a song or album? We can be found on ITunes and CD Baby. We thank you for watching us and supporting us and hope to see you at a gig soon, so we can really do it live.

22.01.2022 We want to say Hi and thank you all for your lovely comments and messages over the weekend on our video. Cheered us up too and we’re glad we could make some of you smile. We’ve had some requests to share a gig here on F.B and will definitely do one soon and our friend Bronwyn asked today if we could play Ghost Town for her and of course we said YES! We were meant to play The Tin Shed on Saturday April 19th coinciding with Ironfest which is also the night before Gillian’s Birthday, so as there’s so much going on presently we thought we’d post it then and dress up too. In the meantime if you’d like to make a request (preferably originals) we’d love to play them for you, so please let us know if there’s something you’d like to hear. If we’re going to go stir crazy, let’s do it together. Love Gill & El

21.01.2022 We posted three songs tonight. So if you're not into the darkness of the Cure, a country classic by the man in black, perhaps you'd like to keep warm by having a dance to one of our favourite tunes "Rock This Town." Hopefully we'll all be rockin' the town soon as these restrictions start to lift. Fingers crossed.

20.01.2022 This Friday night we'll be hitting The Family Hotel in Katoomba to play a three hour acoustic set. We had so much fun last time, so really hope you don't miss it. We have to mention too that over Covid time the hotel went through a magical transition, so it's truly fabulous inside, as is the new menu. Social distancing rules do still apply, no dancing unless it's in your seats and signing in is a must. Friday November 20th from 7:30-10:30pm Parke Street, Katoomba.

19.01.2022 Just wanted to say hi to everyone. We hope your all well, staying inside as much as you can and don't forget to wash your hands. Love to all. x

17.01.2022 Our version of a Simple Minds song called Someone, Somewhere in Summertime. One of our favourites from the 80s and even though it’s winter solstice here, it’s the summer solstice in the Northern Hemisphere.

17.01.2022 This Saturday December 19th (from 8:30pm-12am) will be our first gig back at Jack Duggans Irish Pub since March this year, so we're pretty damn excited and looking forward to seeing some of our Bathurst friends before Xmas. Also Friday night (Dec 18th) we’ll be gigging away at The Lawson Bowlo for a couple of hours from 8:30-10:30pm. We would like to take this time to thank all of our friends, family, publicans and venues for your support. This has been a really tough year and we're just so grateful to be back gigging and seeing and hearing from you all. We wish you and your families a rockin' Christmas and hope you all have a happy, healthy and prosperous new year. Love & Cheers, Gillian & Eliot xx

17.01.2022 For those who were coming along to see us tonight at the Paradise Cafe our gig is on hold until further notice due to the recent flooding. The cafe is getting back on its feet gradually and are still serving some of their menu, so please support them if and when you’re in the area. We look forward to playing there in the future and wish them all the best. Paradise Cafe 766 River Road Lower Portland

15.01.2022 Thought we’d pop up a few tunes tonight as we were meant to be on stage now at the Winter Magic Festival. We had a couple of technical hitches trying to do a live to air gig as everyone’s probably on Zoom, but did a few single vids instead and here’s one of ours called Little Gypsies. Hope you enjoy it and feel free to purchase it too (nudge nudge, ) or an album if you’re so inclined at ITunes or CD baby (band name: Sideshow Annie). Love to you all.

13.01.2022 It’s nearly time for the weekend and we are getting ready to head back to Bathurst this Saturday night to rock out at Jack Duggans Irish Pub. We can’t wait to see everyone dancing there again and we’ll all be kicking up our heels from 8:30pm.

12.01.2022 Gill took the bins out yesterday. Her first outing in a while, can’t you tell?

12.01.2022 This Friday night (Oct 30th) we will be actually gigging on a stage together from 7:30-10:30pm at The Family Hotel (Katoomba). There’ll be no dancing, social distancing rules still apply and you’ll have to sign in, but regardless this will be our first duo gig since March and we can’t wait to do what we love and see you again.

12.01.2022 A great song for a dark, cold night. The Cure's Lullaby.

12.01.2022 A couple more gigs for January, YAY! Sat 16th: Family Hotel (Parke Street, Katoomba) 7:30-10:30pm Tues 26th: Hills Club 1:00- 5:00pm 6-18 Jenner St, Baulkham Hills.

10.01.2022 We've shared three live tracks from our living room on this freezing Friday night, though it would be nice to be gigging. As most of you know we like all kinds of moosic even a bit of old time country. This tune always reminds Gilly of her Dad, it's a Johnny Cash song called "Understand Your Man."

10.01.2022 We can’t wait for this Sunday (8/11) as we’ll be playing at The Blackheath Bar & Bistro from 6:30-8:30pm. Wonderful food, lovely staff, warm atmosphere, craft beers, wine and classic cocktails. Seriously, we can’t think of a better way to spend a Sunday night? Shop 1/35 Govetts Leap Rd, Blackheath.

08.01.2022 Hey Bathurst, thanks for another great night! Dancing is back and better than ever at Jack Duggans and it’s great to see. There were even people waiting to get in, but boogieing on the street seemed to keep them a bit warmer. We got home at 3:30am and it was COLD, reading only 1 degree. We still got up though for our Anzac Day Dawn Service (on our street) presented by our wonderful 87 y.o Veteran neighbour John. Lest We Forget. Our next stop will be Sat May 1st at The Lawson Bowling Club (7:30pm) with our full band Sideshow Annie. Gilly will be celebrating her b-day there too, so anything could happen. In the meantime have a rockin’ week as it may be time for us to get a little more shut eye.

07.01.2022 Rag n bone are playing the Lawson Bowlo tonight!! Here’s a happy little pic .... we had a day off and were burying the hatchet....

07.01.2022 A good one to play and dance to at Midnight. Our version of the ol’ Creedence Clearwater song; The Midnight Special.

07.01.2022 Well it's been a long time coming, but we're happy to say live music is not dead. We are brushing off the cobwebs, sorting out our gear, rising up and getting ready to jump back on a stage and can't wait! We do hope to catch up with you at a bar, pub or club soon and please support musicians and venues. We all need you, especially in these strange times. Fri Oct 30th: The Family Hotel, Katoomba (7:30-10:30pm) Sun Nov 8th: Blackheath Bar n' Bistro (6:30-8:30pm) - acoustic b...lues, rock, jazz and Americana. Sat Nov 28th: Blackheath Golf Club (7:00-10:00pm) See more

05.01.2022 A little song we enjoy doing sometimes; The 2:19 (Tom Waits). Usually at gigs we don’t have neighbours stopping on the driveway to listen or cats running around knocking things down, but it’s all a bit of fun anyway.

03.01.2022 Eliot and Gillian will be on Radio Blue Mountains from 12pm today playing a couple of Sideshow Annie tunes and talking to Duck. Tune in for some fun if you can from 12pm, 89.1.

02.01.2022 Quick Update. Gig just in. Tonight, Lawson Bowlo, 8:30-10:30pm, so come and grab a drink, a fine meal and have a listen to some good, live music. Best of all we’ll be keeping dry. Well maybe.

02.01.2022 A gig just came in, most exciting! We will be playing this evening at the Family Hotel (Katoomba) from 7:30pm. Hope to see some of you there.

01.01.2022 ....let’s Do Mrs Robinson - not in the biblical sense ... of course
