16.01.2022 We welcomed our beautiful daughter to the world on March 17 at 12:45pm. Elke Aluna Black made a stellar entrance, too excited to wait until we got to the hospital she was born in the car on Albert St Preston! We were both perfectly healthy and just needed to stay 24 hours in hospital. Paul and I are totally in love with our treasure. I am taking maternity leave to be with Elke. Thank you for your patience during this sacred time. 04.01.2022 Im ordering the post-natal BLT. The post pregnancy lexicon seems to be very focused around recovering and healing - the need to bounce back to your pre-baby body. That language doesnt quite gel with me. I have more respect and gratitude than ever for my body; Im in total awe of how she grew and birthed my daughter. Its not something I feel I need to heal or recover from. *I fully respect those women who did have a traumatic birth experience and require support and he...aling - this is now something I am passionate about - supporting women to have a positive and empowered birth* When I sat to contemplate this and call in my own post natal mantra the words BRIGHT, LIGHT & TIGHT dropped in and really resonated. Im supporting my body on journey to get bright, light and tight. Ill be sharing my journey here and would love to journey with other mums for support, encouragement and accountability

02.01.2022 Dear friends & clients I have been very inactive on social media and extremely active being a mother. I appreciate your patience whilst I have been navigating motherhood and thank you for the ongoing enquiring messages asking when you can start booking me again. I am making preparations to create space for my services. Last Saturday I fell over walking to Pilates and sprained my ankle! I will update here when I am available. :)

02.01.2022 7 weeks on the job what an incredible vessel is the female human body. She has grown, birthed and now feeding and nursing her baby. The body just gives and gives, though the muscles are tense and fatigued you find a way to push through. Ill be honest Its challenging to prioritise self care with a new born. As I type this feeding Elke my neck, traps, shoulders, lower back are tight and sore. Im in dire need of an EMMETT session and a good massage! Mummas when Im back working again Ill be putting a special treatment together for you, I feel you sisters
