14.01.2022 This says it all. Same tree and location. These fires have completely changed the landscape here in Mallacoota. Scary to see how much the area has changed and been affected by this.

12.01.2022 A nice wander around the redwoods. Captured the smoke coming through the trees as well as a leafy grasshopper and a lovely little angry snake who decided he wanted to try and eat me. I thought it best to give him his space.

10.01.2022 I managed to get out with Leanne searching for orchids. She had her orchid eyes on and spotted quite a few for me. :)

09.01.2022 Some you have and some you haven't seen. It was a bit strange up there. Very quiet for this time of year. There were heaps of lyre birds around the town. The most I've seen in one place. I didn't manage to get any photos of them though. Lots of Kangaroos in town as well.

06.01.2022 Couple of pics from Mallacoota. Will post more as I take them. Its sad up here seeing all the burnt out areas. Theres houses that are completely gone and the ones either side havent been touched. Lots of new growth already in the burnt areas as well. The grass trees (black boys) all seem to be growing back already. When I get a chance Ill head out and get some pics of that as well.
