17.01.2022 Even after having entries open for 5 months and 2 cut off dates, I am still getting requests to enter. Entries are open until 8pm tonight and this is the absolute last chance. So if you're not in by tonight then you're a spectator on Saturday. Please guys respect that we are trying to organize a great event for you with a group of volunteers (people who have day jobs) so last chance today only.

16.01.2022 It's a sad time in the Latrobe Valley, we would love to announce a date for this years event but with so much uncertainty we don't know if the event will be run at all. Fingers crossed and thanks to you all over the past few years of the Hazelwood 100 and previously as the Winter Triathlon. Keep training hard and stay in touch.

15.01.2022 Hey legends! Who's keen for more Hazelwood 100 action this year??? As most people know the closure of Hazelwood Power Station has cast some uncertainty over the future of our event. Once we have a clear picture of the future of the pondage then we will let you know. At this stage we would be looking at a date around mid-late September 2017. Please comment below what format you like for the Hazelwood 100.... A. Am 1.5/48/5 Pm. 1.5/36/9 B. Am 1.5/36/9 Pm. 1.5/36/9 C. Am 2/84(7 laps)/21(5 laps) These are the only options so please comment A, B or C.

12.01.2022 Hey Everyone, after a lot of uncertainty about the future of Hazelwood Pondage this year we have decided to postpone this years event until further notice. We have been holding out for some clear indications on a number of key elements regarding the venue, water quality, etc. We as a club would love nothing more than to run the event every year but the closing of the power station has had an impact on the conditions of which we race in. We are working on a few options going into to future so please keep checking in on us as we will be releasing details as soon as we possibly can.

05.01.2022 Here we have Hazelwood 100 Multisport Festival Race Director Noel Fenn and Dr Melissa Jones representing The Foot and Ankle Clinic post race. It's great to have the Foot and Ankle Clinic on board as our naming rights sponsor for the LVTC Foot and Ankle Clinic Summer Series! Race 1 was part of the Hazelwood 100 Multisport Festival with the Fun and Sprint distances, we have 2 more events in the series. Race 2 is Sunday October 23rd and Race 3 being November 27th. These events will be Fun and Sprint Distance with the return of kids tri's for both rounds, before our popular Splash n Dash series kicks off again! So mark you calendars and get training, great prizes to be given away at each event! If you need any advice on shoes and getting yourself moving well, pop in and see the team at The Foot and Ankle Clinic. Tell them I sent you!

04.01.2022 Just got back from packing our goodie bags! Check your emails in the morning for your Athlete Information Guides.

03.01.2022 This guy would love some new wheels from WHEELSCIENCE, you could win a set yourself! All you need to do is enter the Hazelwood 100 Multisport Festival before midnight tonight!

02.01.2022 As you would be aware if you raced on Saturday, we gave everyone the chance to grab a wristband from the Yinnar Yeti as they crossed the finish line. There were plenty of blue, green and black bands but only 10 white and one red, these were for the random prize draws. Unfortunately for the guy who received the red band, he left before the draw. So Pete from WHEELSCIENCE had to draw it from random numbers to give away a set of wheels . And the white bands were in the draw for the ROCKET SCIENCE SPORTS wetsuit and goggles prizes. Congratulations to our winners, who hung around and were rewarded for their efforts. For those of you who missed out, Pete is offering the same deal next year! Special thanks to WHEELSCIENCE and ROCKET SCIENCE SPORTS for putting up such great prizes and supporting our event!

02.01.2022 Tomorrow's race schedule, please note that anyone racing the Olympic, Sprint or Fun tri's you can sleep in. The early rego is only for those doing The Hazelwood 100 or Rocket Science Sports open water swims. Please be aware that when you arrive, there may be athletes still competing out on the course. Don't make them angry!

01.01.2022 Hey guys and girls please check your inbox this morning for the Athlete Guide for tomorrow's event. Hopefully everyone got one, if not click on the link here to view it. Also check your junk mail folder too. Cheers https://regonline.activeglobal.com//3/2016AthleteGuide.pdf
