25.01.2022 Just some of our gorgeous Year 8s waiting for class!

24.01.2022 Our Launch Ceremony today was humble, but full of heart and hope for our future as St Mary's College. Share the occasion with us here.

23.01.2022 Our Social Justice Team were all smiles for RUOK Day when they met today. And our teachers weren't forgotten - they each received a gift voucher from the school and some tips on how to look after their work mates. All up, the school community has been reminded of how to check in with others and how to spoil themselves too!

23.01.2022 Our new website is a great way to see our school's vision for a positive, sustainable future as the only provider of secondary Catholic co-education in inner Melbourne.

22.01.2022 Our latest Wellness Owl was sent to students yesterday and has some great ideas for a break from screens like these STEM activities.

22.01.2022 A while ago, our Year 12 students put this recording together and we are sharing it for your listening pleasure as we head into a well-earned mid-term break - Amazing Grace.

22.01.2022 Our students got behind the Share the Dignity charity this term - donating personal hygiene products for homeless women and victims of domestic violence. It's great to see social justice alive and well in our students. #wearestmarys #justiceandsolidarity

18.01.2022 Last week, five brave year 12 men took a walk down memory lane with Bill Jennings from Time and Space to have a chat about why the upcoming Parent and Son night this week is such a great opportunity to connect, as we move so quickly towards the end of the Year 12 students’ journey at school. https://vimeo.com/453117297

17.01.2022 Our Prefects have put together a short pick-me-up film to encourage our students to reach out to each other and remember that we're here for one another.

17.01.2022 Another message of hope and prayer from our prefects - this time from Chris. Carpe Diem - seize the day! Don't let a perfectly good day go to waste. A Prayer for Unity... In this century and in any century, Our deepest hope, our most tender prayer, Is that we learn to listen. May we listen to one another in openness and mercy. May we listen to plants and animals in wonder and respect. May we listen to our own hearts in love and forgiveness. May we listen to God in quietness and awe. And in this listening, Which is boundless in its beauty, May we find the wisdom to cooperate With a healing spirit, a divine spirit Who beckons us into peace and community and creativity. We do not ask for a perfect world. But we do ask for a better world. We ask for deep listening. Amen

17.01.2022 Here's a sight we've not seen in a while: Our Year 10 students are off on their Outdoor Ed camp today with Mr Joyce. The sun is shining and the students are excited. Let's wish them a fantastic camp!

13.01.2022 Congratulations to Year 12 Student Mason Wray who has been accepted into Colorado Mesa University on a Baseball scholarship. Mason is a catcher who plays for Newport Baseball Club in the summer, and Watsonia Baseball Club in the winter. He has played in U16 and U18 state teams and this year made the Victorian School Boys team. Mason is a member of the Academy of Baseball Excellence and as well a member of team NxtGen which is a nationally selected team, who attended the Ariz...ona Fall Classic last year, where he caught the attention of several college coaches resulting in the commitment to CMU. He will be travelling to the US once Year 12 ends. Congratulations, Mason!

12.01.2022 Support From Our Old Collegians How can we support our Year 12 Boys as they grapple with the challenges of their final year of school during the COVID-19 pandemic? Well, a call out to College Captains and our CBC Old Collegians Facebook group was met with a positive response. A number of Old Boys made some amazing short videos with advice on how to tackle upcoming exams and prepare for life after school. The videos are being shared weekly in the Year 12 MS Teams Group for students to view. See if you can spot any familiar faces! #wearecbc #solidarity #cbcstkilda

12.01.2022 One of our prefects, Jacob, has this advice: Look out for your mates, they’ll be the ones that help you through the struggle that we are all facing together. Make sure to check up on them and see that they are coping in this very unique situation. If we all have each other’s backs then we will get through this and come out the other side stronger. God, keep our family, friends and loved ones safe. Please watch over them always and let good health, happiness and good fortune befall them. Amen

11.01.2022 Another sunny lunchtime spent on the courts - this time it was students vs staff from both PCW and St Mary's College. The students were too good for the teachers, with a convincing victory! #wearestmary's

08.01.2022 Our Prefects are spreading the love! Here is Marcus with a kind word and a prayer: Times may seem a little tough for now but it’s important to remember that everyone is in it together. Be sure to check up on friends and family and don’t be afraid to ask for help. Take time to step outside and relax. Lord Jesus... We thank you for your constant love and care shown towards us. In this time of need, please continue to look after us, our friends, families and fellow brothers and sisters around the world. Guide us to continue being good neighbours and help us conquer this time of struggle together. Amen.

06.01.2022 The mixed netball comp was a fun way to spend lunchtime today, with some of our students playing for the first time ever! #wearestmarys #aschoolforall

05.01.2022 The next kind word and prayer from our prefects is from College Captain Patrick: "Remember to look on the bright side of life during these times, to think of what you have rather than what you don't have. Remember that at the end of all of this, things will get better." Dear lord,... During these times, we remember to give thanks for all that you’ve given us. We remember all the benefits that we have that many others may live without. We pray for everyone during these times that may be without a home, those without a loving family and those without a loving network of friends to support them. We are thankful for what we have, and pray for those less fortunate. Amen

04.01.2022 An audience with the Mayor Today Year 9 student Alexander De Jong represented CBC at the 2020 Port Phillip City Council ‘Youth in Chamber’ event.
