01.01.2022 We could not be more delighted to congratulate the splendid Lian Tanner and Jonathan Bentley on their win last night at the NSW Premiers Literary Awards! Their... gorgeous picture book Ella and the Ocean (published by Allen & Unwin) was the winner of the Patricia Wrightson Prize for Childrens Literature. The judges described the book as a flawlessly composed and executed picture book. (You can find more of the glowing Judges Comments through The State Library of New South Wales page.) Congratulations to you both, and we expect youll be buying us all the next round of drinks to celebrate!
