17.01.2022 Our 2012 Sailing team is the subject of this week's #ThrowbackThursday, who battled against the odds to put up a competitive team, with the help of the previous year's captain, Luke Walter. What can you remember from that competition, gents?

16.01.2022 Congratulations to Kale Arena (Year 8), who won the Under 13 division of this year's ACC Virtual Cross Country Carnival! Kale blitzed the field, finishing a full 15 seconds ahead of his closest competitor! Well done, Kale!

16.01.2022 Earlier this term, more than 400 of our Year 7, 8 and 9 students competed in the ACC's Lightning Carnivals, playing AFL, Basketball, Soccer, Rugby Union and Ultimate Frisbee. The competitions place a heavy emphasis on participation and fun, with all lower school students spending the day playing a sport of their choosing. The day is also important for our senior students, who had the opportunity to develop their coaching skills by working with their younger peers.

07.01.2022 Year 12 student, Jack Carroll, received a fantastic endorsement in The West Australian this week, when he was named in the paper's WAFL Colts team of the season! "Likened to Collingwood captain Scott Pendlebury, Carroll is a sound decision-maker, moves around the ground so well and has great vision," journalist Jordan McArdle wrote. Congratulations Jack! What an achievement!... Click here to read the article >> bit.ly/3bWZ8qH

06.01.2022 Congratulations to Alejandro Larranaga-Boyle (Year 10), who was recently inducted into the ACC's prestigious Lettermen Club for Athletics! The Club is an elite group of athletes who have been selected in the ACC All Star team for four years - meaning Alejandro has made the cut every year since he arrived at CBC! It's a fantastic outcome for Alejandro, and a fitting reward for his dedication to Athletics. Well done, Alejandro!

06.01.2022 This time last week, old boy Sam Menegola ('09) was preparing for one of the biggest days of his life, as he lined up for Geelong in his first AFL Grand Final! Sam's journey to the big game wasn't an easy one, after spending time at two AFL clubs before playing a senior game. After giving the 2015 WAFL season his all, he was rewarded by being picked up by Geelong in 2016. In his five seasons at the Cats he's still had to battle injury woes, but his persistence paid off when h...e ran onto The Gabba last weekend. Recording two goals, 13 disposals and 10 kicks, Menegola proved his worth on the wing, and we couldn't be more proud of the journey he's been on since graduating from CBC more than 10 years ago. Best wishes for the future Sam - we'll all be cheering you on!
