23.01.2022 The most common reason we hear from businesses not wanting to use our service is how much it will cost them. In the current economic climate, everyone is watching their bottom line and this is understandable. https://www.cbcstaff.com.au/the-true-cost-of-recruitment/

23.01.2022 Short mindfulness exercises have been used by our team for some time in times of challenge. It is amazing how even a 5 - 10 minute session of mediation or deep breathing can really go to refocus and boost productivity. #mindfulness #teamdevelopment #meditation #clearyourmind #openyourmind #growth #focus #careerdevelopment http://ow.ly/tCRA50ARWK8

22.01.2022 You only get one chance at a first impression. Ensure that you are well groomed and that your clothes reflect the business image you wish to project. Below are some suggestions for improving your technique in the interview. + Arrive early. However, if you think you may be late ring first to apologise + Good presentation is essential + The first five minutes are vital, so greet the interviewer enthusiastically (quite possibly using their surname) and (definitely) shake thei...r hand firmly + Learn to listen as well as talk, it will give you valuable clues as to the responses required + Watch your body language. Interviewers will recognise a lack of congruence between what you and your body are saying + Smile; it builds a bridge between you and the interviewer When answering questions use action words such as achieved, managed, improved, to show that you can add value, solve problems and exploit opportunities. + Dont oversell yourself or embellish the truth + Dont over-answer questions; keep answers informative but relatively brief + Do not ask about remuneration until at least the second interview. If you are asked about your expectations, give as general an answer as you can until you know that they wish to make you an offer+ #cbcquicktips #interviewtip #jobsearch #recruitmentcairns #recruitmenttownsville

22.01.2022 Every year, at the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month, we gather in memorial parks, community halls, workplaces, schools and homes to stand in honour of all who have fallen. Together, we observe a moment of silence to mark the sacrifice of the many who have fallen in the service of their country, and to acknowledge the courage of those who still serve. Lest we forget. ... #remembranceday #lestweforget2020
