20.01.2022 What a way to get back into face to face rovering! It's been a while due to fires at the end of last year and begining of this year, as well as overseas trips, and then Covid-19. An easy social night including fire and card games. #facetofacescouting #Roversdostuff #CapeByronRovers

19.01.2022 To celebrate National Volunteer Week we would like to announce the launch of our new Instagram page! @Rover_Scouts_NSW To introduce some of the members of our ...Executive and celebrate the contribution they make to Rovering in NSW we would like to start with our Commissioner and Chairman, Kuzma. We have posed a bunch of questions to our Executive, highlighting not only the time they have been in Scouting but also their thoughts as humans. What is your name? Kuzma What are your pronouns? He Him/They Them What Unit and Region are you from? 1st Blaxland Rover Crew 'Kalangadoo' GWS How long have you been in Rovers and Scouts? 10 Years Scouting and 5-6 Years in Rovers, I took a two year hiatus for Uni. What position do you hold? Commissioner and Chairman Any big things you want to achieve as a Rover? Make Rovers a safe place anyone will feel valued and appreciated. I want Rovers to understand that we are all here to have fun and grow as people so we need to help each other. What type of soup do you like? Ramen What are your best features? My hugs. Name something you miss from your childhood. I miss being so carefree. I also miss how much fun I could have just with my imagination and a few items. What two colours would you paint your room? Purple and white What is your favourite animal? The Fox. Closely followed by the Red Panda If you had to choose one, would you rather pineapple or anchovies on your pizza? Pineapple What is your biggest lesson learnt in Scouting? That it costs nothing to be nice and that checking in with each other is so important What is your least favourite Scouting Memory? Not being in scouts for 2 years hahaha. But in all seriousness it would have to be from Venturers. I was always made to do all the chores. If you had to be stranded in the middle of nowhere with one other SRC Exec member, who would it be? Mon Why? While I'd like to choose Pete so I know I'll have longer to survive, I chose Mon because I reckon between us, there's nothing we can't achieve

Personal Growth consists of anything that ha...s the potential to grow and better you as a person. Challenge yourself this week and aim to try three things out of your comfort zone. They can be as big or as little as you'd like. Afterwards, think about how you felt, write it down, and what you would do for next time. See more
