16.01.2022 A very happy 2013 to all. This story, from a colleague, is amazingly appropriate for this time of the year as we all rush to start another year all over again. What do you think? "Recently I saw several clients who needed to control everything in their world, and I was drawn to contemplate the concept of ‘efforting’ to get what you want. I then reminded myself that the more we persist the more the object of our desire resists. Like the samurai warrior in a room of locked doors who pushed and pushed to break his way out until he in his exhaustion clinging to the door handle fell backwards to discover the door was never locked it just opened inward. I wonder what would happen if we all relaxed and took things a little slower and calmer?
