25.01.2022 Year 10 food technology students are learning about food service and catering. For their assessment tasks, students are working towards designing and producing a food truck food item which is innovative and new to world. In preparation, students in Miss Hamills class produced Fried Chicken Waffle Cones with Maple Bacon and Honey Mustard Sauce. The recipe had many preparation and cooking methods, but through collaboration and time management all groups were successful. Well done to our year 10 Foodies!

25.01.2022 SCIENCE WEEK! Earlier this year Clancy Scientists were set a mission from Clancy U to design a drone to solve a world issue. Students from 7-10 accepted this mission and designed a variety of drones from bush fire relief, coral bleaching warning systems, thermal drones for search and rescue, paramedic assistance and many more. On Tuesday they held a walk through for all of Clancy to come and see their designs. Their work was phenomenal and certainly showcases the calibre of our Clancy Science students. Winners of the junior and senior engineers award will be announced Friday. Show your support for all of our drone competitors by giving a thumbs up!

22.01.2022 The confinement from gravity, the limitations of expectations, the restraint of our minds. A universal motif for freedom is most notably the bird. My artwork, modelled after the South American Andean Condor, is in fragments. Although, at first glance, the work may suggest a fragmented freedom, my intention is the very opposite. Freedom is not a limitation if we set our minds to go beyond our restrictions, reflected by this imperfectly perfect bird. This sculpture is created by using a large amount of origami forms that I individually made, sculpted and later photographed Eden - Yr 11 Visual Arts
