17.01.2022 Important Announcement from Karting Australia : TAG 125 AND TAG 125 RESTRICTED PARITY WEIGHT ADJUSTMENT... During the past 12 months, there has been significant discussion from the karting industry and some competitors regarding the parity between engines in the TaG 125 and TaG 125 Restricted Classes. The data obtained from the recently introduced electronic Scrutineering Records, when matched with the official results from official timing system have provided Karting Australia with the ability to better assess the parity within these Classes. Based on our analysis of this data, we believe that parity adjustments are warranted for both TaG 125 and TaG 125 Restricted Classes. Parity Adjustments - Effective October 23, 2020 TaG 125 Restricted 3kg reduction to the combined Driver and Kart weight for all engines OTHER than the Rotax 125 engine. Remember our volunteers and officials ARE all volunteers. They are there to make our race weekend happen, and without them we won't be racing, so please acknowledge the work they put in for us.

09.01.2022 ***RADIO COVERAGE*** Brilliant opening two days, but the best is still to come... some awesome racing today, that has set up a fascinating day tomorrow. Good lu...ck to all. Had a few people asking about the Radio Broadcast... it's not an AM or FM thing, it's online radio, folks... head to your favourite APP store, download the 'West Bremer Radio' APP, and when you open that up, you select 'listen', and then WEST BREMER SPORT. I'm pleased to say we had some listeners streaming from Tasmania and South Australia today, so there's been plenty of interest in this truly unique QLD Karting Championship... I say that because of the missing element that is the (usual) large influx of interstate competitors, but congratulations to the Victorians, who've gone above and beyond to be here... we know these events aren't cheap at the best of times, but Hotel Quarantine makes is a fair investment before you even start... so, we hope it's worth it for you come tomorrow afternoon. Tomorrow, our coverage starts from 7:55am TRACK TIME (8:55am in NSW/ACT/VIC/TAS, 8:25am in SA, 7:25am in the NT, and 5:55am in WA). See you trackside.
