17.01.2022 PROJECT NEWS | Cameron Chishom Nicol Architects spent the first few months of the year developing a mixed use scheme for one of our long standing clients. The site an 8000sqm landmark gateway from the eastern suburbs to the inner city suburb of kangaroo point. The challenge was to prepare a scheme for 300 apartments and 200 hotel rooms, while responding to the numerous constraints of the site. In addition to the briefed spaces the project delivered 80% city view apartments over three towers, a combination of retail and commercial spaces as well as a 3000sqm sky deck (with 300m walking track) and a public roof top bar, restaurant and function space. The projects facade was inspired by the bends in the Brisbane river which was a valued participant in contributing towards design excellence. See more images at http://www.ccnq.com.au/
