24.01.2022 That time of year again... Cruise Control Specialists will be closed for the holidays, back bright and chirpy for the New Year. Thank you to all our loyal customers and we wish everyone a safe and prosperous Season. Nigel

24.01.2022 Added a push button Start and wired the auxiliary controls to the disability equipment on this GMC truck. Impressive vehicle, brand new, the owner is a farmer and he needs a 4WD to continue working after his accident. This is the only truck suitable, lucky he had insurance to pay for it. Modified in America, converted in Queensland. Fitted out in Sydney.

24.01.2022 Big improvement on the Cruise Control in this Nissan Patrol - worked a treat...

24.01.2022 Hi there friends and followers... For years we have relied on word of mouth for our work. And we seem to be always busy, gave up advertising years ago. These are certainly troubling times we find ourselves in now, and we hope everyone is staying safe and self isolating correctly out there. The problem is with everyone in isolation the word of mouth thing is not happening for us right now. This is the first time in 27 years that we are starting the week with no bookings. We a...re still working (but safely), and we not only do Cruise Controls and Crash Cams these days, but we can do all sorts of electrical work and accessories on your car / truck / trailer. This photo is of the nerve centre of a Snap-On tools truck, designed and built by Nigel. It controls all the lights, the radio, the shelf and Valance lighting, all from wireless switches. The Security and Tracking were also done on this vehicle at the same time. Call to discuss your needs (or wants) for your special vehicle. 1300 55 1985. Thank for being the loyal customers you all are since 1993. See more

24.01.2022 Testing of a few disability mods. This vehicle has joystick steering and electronic braking, G forces measured with and without forced Brake failures. A good day out in the hot sun.

23.01.2022 We don’t do many trucks, this one works really well. Steering wheel mounted Cruise Control switch, easy to get to and go use.

22.01.2022 In days gone by...

22.01.2022 Very cool car to work on today, Ford GT 2005 model - the commemorative model they relaunched for the anniversary. Only 10 RHD models in existence, most of which are in museums. The Cruise Control was fitted by the yanks when they rebuilt the car, not completed. The other toys in the shed included a Phase 4 XC falcon, an XR GT, a ‘67 Shelby GT350 - built in the hanger at LAX. There was also a late model GT500 mustang, a ‘67 Camaro, and a late model Bentley. A cool place to work (amongst the royalty).

20.01.2022 Total Ability new demo / assessment vehicle is underway - lots of goodies in this van. Joystick steering, 10 different accelerator options, side entry ramp for driving from a wheelchair. Plus lots more.

20.01.2022 Holden Commodore, this young guy had such a huge smile when he collected his car. Young bloke, red P plates, got his new wheelchair from next door (RNSH) on the same day. Such rewarding work when you get that kind of reaction. #cruisecontrolspecialists

19.01.2022 Resurrected an old Cruise Control today - CA300, about 25 years old. Fitted when the vehicle was new. The switch broke it’s On/Off switch then fell apart when removed from its mount - replaced with the later model Stalk switch. Another happy customer.

19.01.2022 Youi promotional vehicle, fitted out with Alarm, Tracker, Reverse Camera, Electric Brake device. Nice looking truck.

18.01.2022 Holden Equinox, nice installation. The reverse sensors had an interesting feature in this vehicle - seat vibrators, for when they are activated.

17.01.2022 Another Snap-On truck completed with our unique Security System custom designed for the needs of these vehicles.

16.01.2022 Jaguar F type, Lodgesons Lollipop spinner knob with auxiliaries.

15.01.2022 It was bring your puppy to work day the other day... Well behaved, only one accident but what do expect from someone so young?

13.01.2022 The last Christmas themed photo was such poor quality I felt compelled to post another. Starskey & Hutch never looked better...

11.01.2022 This was a big job - 4 days. Over ring accelerator, satellite accelerator, spinner knob with auxiliary controls, mechanical brake lever with auxiliaries, Left Foot Accelerator, and brake pedal on the pass side (no photo). A driving instructor vehicle. All passed engineering first go, a good job.

11.01.2022 The mighty FJ Holden... this one was real cool, VE Commodore diner car, V6, transmission, diff, interior bits - console door trims etc. a very nice car.

11.01.2022 An interesting day yesterday. Went from fitting a Cruise Control in a Porsche to installing a Tracker in this big bloody machine. 3 steps up and 3 steps down EVERY time I needed another tool. All in a day’s work.

10.01.2022 Warning... turn the sound down. That beeping drives you crazy. Cool ramp though, side entry on a VW T6. This is a vehicle that can be driven from a wheelchair.

08.01.2022 These imported late model cars are a great option - a lot of car for the price. Not a lot of them come with Cruise Control, this one does now. Toyota Crown Estate wagon 2000 model

08.01.2022 Awesome that this guy has located a rare part for his ride. If your classic has a Cruise Control button we can make it operational. This example would be an early GM vehicle, where there was only a SET button - originally a 1955 Buick design. Like the VK Commodore in Australia, not a great Cruise but it worked. We can improve it on your car 1300 55 1985.

07.01.2022 Went to a customers shop the other day - this is a Jaguar D type, very rare. This one is a replica, the real deal is valued about 2.5 million pounds in the UK. I saw a real one in Australia about 15 years ago - not bad for an old Jag. The other cars there were interesting, 58 sedan 5ltr Holden late model EFI motor, Morris Van with a SBC, and a nice rod. And a shot of my car out and about.

07.01.2022 Nice car to work on today - when the guy called me about a Tracker for his ‘67 Mustang, I asked him if it was a fastback - didn’t expect it to be an original GT500. An awesome car, a true Muscle car in every sense of the word.

01.01.2022 This is a cool car to work in today - Airborne 8, well known on the Hot Rod scene. Good to see Bluey again, it’s been a while.
