20.01.2022 The Commission’s In Our Own Words report made many recommendations about how to change the system so that kids can get the support they need. More government funding was one of our recommendations it is great to see the Victorian Government has now said it will provide money to make sure that kids in care get the support they need while they’re in care and beyond. Tomorrow we’ll be publishing a report called Keep Caring. In it, we say what needs to change so that young people leaving care get the support they need to thrive it’s more than just money.
