18.01.2022 So last Friday night after 10 days of the 2019 Queensland Variety Bash ... we all celebrated the amazing result that was raised this year ... $1,412,819 net profit from this years fund raising activities... an amazing result from an amazing group of people ... Team JIGSAW would also like to thank all of their sponsors (big and small - it all added up)... As we said ... we’re all just one little piece of the puzzle .... It was wonderful to meet an awesome bunch of like minded... humans that care enough our Aussie disadvantaged kids to actually do something about it ... it was a privilege to meet you all and I hope to be part of this wonderful charity, and see you all in the future ... I’d like to take this opportunity to personally thank Damo for inviting me on this journey with Variety Qld - The Childrens Charity... and the 2019 Qld Bash. After my health scare last year, I wanted to find a way to give back ... and Damo’s invitation to join him on this wonderful journey was exactly what i needed !!... I look forward to being involved in future bashes and the opportunity to be involved with the JIGSAW TEAM ... and continue to fundraise for this wonderful group and event. Hopefully we will look at what may be required for next year and what needs to be done, to get fundraising started for the JIGSAW TEAM earlier than we did this year ... Ian John and me (pete) are heading to dinner and heading out tomorrow morning... for the last 4 days of this years Variety Bash ... 6.30am for breakfast... 7.45 for daily briefing... and away by 8am ... our destination... Oakey !!!! But here is a little of the boys driving home via Rainbow Beach to Noosa !!!!
