02.01.2022 Dear Brisbane Community, The Colombian Dance Group is excited to announce the start of our once-a-year Recruitment for new dancers. We are a not-for -profit community organisation and all members are volunteers. We welcome people of any cultural background who love to dance and want to learn and perform Colombian folk dances. Colombia is a culturally diverse country with a rich history, and its colourful dances comprise Spanish, African and Indigenous influences.... Our group is unique in Queensland and has a strong record of performances at festivals across the state. So be prepared to rock the stages in Queensland! If this sounds like something that interests you and you can commit to two hour rehearsals from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Dutton Park every Wednesday, please send us message with your full name, phone number, email address and a brief description of any previous dance experience. Expressions of interest will be only accepted during February. The next round of recruitment will occur in February 2021.
