13.01.2022 Some of our awesome current and former CECWA board for end of year drinks. For those of us that could make it, it's always good to celebrate a year of fundraising and awareness! In 2020, CECWA were able to fund Conductive Education teacher training for Carson St School and Castlereagh Schools thanks to a Telethon grant. We also donated two prizes for the I CAN Award student winners at Carson St School. And we absolutely cannot forget we hosted our biennial Gala fundraiser r...ecently getting our community together for fundraising, awareness and fun! Our volunteer board make it all happen - former and current made up of CE parents, friends of CE parents and the awesome staff at Carson St School and Castlereagh School. W e T h a n k Y o u Y o u A l l for all your committment and passion in constantly striving to ensure Conductive Education is available in WA to children with motor disorders and associated needs and their families. We missed our Chair Diana, our Treasurer Jennie, our CE Coordinator Shona, our school representatives who are also each school's principal-Ros and Jacqueline and our trusted Admin Assistant Georgia #conductiveeducation #carsonstschool #castlereaghschool #notforprofitcharity #telethon

11.01.2022 Such an amazing video put together by the students and staff at Castlereagh School showcasing what CE is all about and really does bring back what we are doing for these children and their families. In particular, it importantly highlights the work we can do thanks to our Telethon7 Perth grant. Telethon7 Perth Channel 7 Channel 7 Perth Telethon Kids Institute

07.01.2022 This week, CECWA will be showcasing the 'how" of the masterpiece's created by all the Conductive Education students across 5 classes and 2 schools for our recent Tokyo themed biennial Gala. Each piece was auctioned off for our charity, so feel free to show us yours #cecwa #meettheartists #dinnerfordreams #conductiveeducation #carsonstreetschool #castlereaghschool Up next we have the Orange Gum class who had three different choices for their artwork! Some chose to create fireworks pictures using cardboard tubes, paint and glitter. Others chose to create cherry blossom using their hands and paint. One student chose to paint over layered cardboard to create a spectacular print of Mount Fuji!

02.01.2022 What it is all about! From the Carson Street CE School Page- "We have exciting news Ridhan in our Conductive Education Program walked at school for the first time ALL BY HIMSELF! ... He has used a walker for two years, and with other supports he has walked short distances, but on Monday.it was full steam ahead. Just watch him go. Ridhan, you are the ‘Achieving Kind’. We are very proud of you." See more
