25.01.2022 This might look unsightly, but it is easily fixed. Often walls are removed to accommodate a bathroom renovation. It doesn't need a new ceiling. We can install a new portion to the exposed area, tape, flush and sand and once it has dried, it's all ready for the finishing touches by the painting team. www.authenticadditions.com.au

24.01.2022 When a cornice is large and heavy, it requires a 2 man team to install. This customer had a section of the traditional large ornate cornice damaged. We removed a small section to enable us to model a completely new mould from the damaged piece. From that mould we were able to run a new piece of cornice section ready to install into place to match the existing. Now it sits nicely in place alongside the rest.

19.01.2022 This Nedlands home ceiling was on a roof pitch that had no supporting structure. With time comes deterioration, and the ceiling panel started to come away. Left without attention, it would have come down. But we simply removed the panel and installed a new section.

19.01.2022 Wed dont often get the opportunity to showcase our work from start to finish, but here is a recent Gyprock boarding job. We flushed and sanded the ceilings and multi-finished the walls to leave a beautiful smooth finish.

14.01.2022 Sometimes, a piece of missing cornice may not be a stock item and needs to be made up. It is labour and time intensive, but we can take a piece of the damaged section away, run a new mould and from that, a new piece of cornice to match the existing one.

13.01.2022 The fixings holding this ceiling in place, had broken down. In this instance, we cut away around the edge to enable the cornice to remain in place, and then installed a new ceiling.

12.01.2022 Theres bulkhead ceilings.....and then theres bulkhead ceilings. This floating bulkhead was individually designed complete with cornice around the edge, to sit on a steel gridwork, but we had to make sure it can be removed if needed to attend to the lighting system behind it. 12.01.2022 Oh dear!!!! Going into roof spaces isnt the easiest job in the world. Once wrong step and you can put your foot through the ceiling, as in this photo here, but it is easily repaired. we just cut the damaged section away, then replace with a new section, flush and sand.
