22.01.2022 Spring Wedding season is here! I am so very excited about the next 6 months!

19.01.2022 What a busy October it’s been! Lots of life celebrations I’ve been fortunate to be a part of including 3 weddings! Last weekend I was involved in another lovely, relaxed fun wedding. Wishing you all the best for the future Nicola & Jamie and thanks for putting your faith in me!

19.01.2022 Excited about my next wedding... two gorgeous friends tying the knot! Very sad about missing a special and beautiful uncles funeral though

17.01.2022 I’d love to share a teaser of tomorrow’s wedding but I’d better not... suffice to say it is the most unusual place I will have ever done a wedding in... and... I have a strong personal connection with the venue! Watch this space and happy wedding day to all the happy couples tomorrow! 17.01.2022 What interesting and fun weekend I’ve had! I had the absolute privilege of conducting a marriage ceremony in the historic Anglican chapel in the old Fremantle Prison! - Not just any ceremony but the wedding of one of my four sons! The chapel was built in the late 1850’s and no doubt it’s walls could tell some stories! Making it even more interesting was that my uncle, the grooms great-uncle, was the Anglican chaplain there for 10 years in the late 70’s-80’s. We then went on to have the reception in one of the cell block areas. Thankyou to everyone who worked so hard in a slightly challenging venue to make it a great day for Luke and Nicole

15.01.2022 I love the way the photographer captured the facial expressions of family members at the wedding I officiated at on Saturday. I am really impressed, he was so subtle and yet the pictures tell more than a thousand words

10.01.2022 Last Saturday was the first of my Spring weddings and the start of a very busy October, and what a great day it was! The sun shone on this beautiful couple and the planning and detail that had gone into the day was abundantly evident!

09.01.2022 Last Saturday, on a delightful Autumn afternoon I had the privilege of performing a marriage ceremony for a couple in the beautiful Ferguson Valley and as it was an unplugged ceremony I am just sharing a few pics of the stunning setting. I’m not sure when my next ceremony will be, but hoping my couples that have future bookings with me will be able to still achieve their dreams on the dates they have chosen! Time will tell, we are all in this together Faith, Hope & Love

06.01.2022 Yesterday I had the absolute honour of performing the ceremony of a special couple at a beautiful location on the Swan River in Guildford! The bride was a young lady whom I've known since she was a teenager, her mum and I are good friends and I was touched to be asked to be involved! We were also being live streamed to the grooms family in England, that was a first for me!! Thank you Chelsea and Jim for trusting me with such an important milestone in your lives!

06.01.2022 Sometimes it’s just the simple things that make a really memorable ceremony my last Autumn wedding before the winter break was intimate, tasteful & unique! I love what I do and am always grateful to the families that put their faith in me in their significant life celebrations

05.01.2022 Getting very excited about my last spring wedding next weekend I think this meme is pretty appropriate! Happy wedding day to all the couples tying the knot this weekend...I’m having a catch-up at home and prep weekend ready for next weekend though

05.01.2022 Excited to be able to share this post by Wild White Photo Co from my sons wedding on Saturday. There are some drop dead gorgeous photos there!

05.01.2022 Well as I head off to do my first wedding of the new year it’s time to reflect a little on the year that has been. I have had the privilege of sharing in a variety of life celebrations, some happy, some sad. It is for me, such a great honour to be involved in such personal celebrations and every day I am thankful for those who place their trust and faith in me I look forward to the year ahead and want to say thankyou to my beautiful clients past, present and future! I am also eternally grateful to my right hand man, my best friend and wonderful husband Jeffrey, without his support I’m not sure I’d still be doing what I do! Happy New Year!

05.01.2022 Last Saturday was a really special day thanks to a lot of people who worked behind the scenes. I had the absolute honour of being a part of an engagement party which was actually a day full of surprises for the guests - the biggest surprise being that in fact it was a wedding! The weather was amazing, the venue at the grooms parents farm was breathtakingly beautiful, and my happy couple also announced to the guests that they were going to become parents! Thank you Simon & Wendy for allowing me to be a part of the surprise! I loved every minute of the whole process here’s to the exciting months ahead

03.01.2022 Well I have to say that it is a pretty gorgeous day for my first Autumn wedding of 2019

02.01.2022 Last Saturday was my second wedding of the New Year and like the first one, it was a small, intimate fun and very relaxed gathering with a lovely group of people! What I love about my job is the people that come into my life and expand my view of the world, and often become friends! Thanks so much to my bride and groom!

01.01.2022 As we enter unprecedented times that most of us have not come across before, it’s important to stay focused on the important things in life. Love, health, happiness and stability are values that become even more important to us. Times are tough, the last couple of lines of this reading say it all, the waters are deep and dark, as are the valleys, but look to the future with hope, because where there’s valleys there’s mountains, and we will climb out of this as a community, a state, and a nation! As celebrants we still want to help you achieve your dreams, we are open to fitting in with your amended plans. I say this as I gratefully look forward to celebrating another special ceremony this weekend. Without love and hope we are nothing Kathy
