10.01.2022 did you have to reschedule your wedding because of the coronavirus? then this is a challenge for you- when your original wedding date comes around, i want you t...o celebrate! why? because you have been stressing and planning for this day for months- maybe even years! and you shouldnt let it pass like just another day in quarantine. instead, make it the ultimate pre-wedding date night: while out on your weekly grocery trip, grab some cake mix and alcohol. set aside. hang up any wedding decor with your original wedding date on it- you can get some use out of it for this one day! OR add in a sign with your new date to upload on social media/your website as your new digital save the date bake the cake and start drinking- in no necessary order. get dressed up. put on a dress/suit, maybe something you were looking forward to wearing- like your veil. or maybe you just want to put on your good sweatpants. facetime, zoom, instagram live, etc. your people. call your parents, grandparents, bridal party the people you were most excited to have by your side. let them be a part of your date night. have them take screenshots as your check things off this list! dance around the house together to your wedding song. practice those dance moves! cut the cake together and eat it! (smashing optional) be sad that this day isnt what you expected it to be- but know that you made the right decision in postponing for the health + safety of your loved ones. your new date is going to be just as beautiful + special as this one wouldve been. you might not be getting married today, but you still have one another and your wedding day will come!!! celebrate the two of you making it through another obstacle + hold onto one another love makes this world go round tag your photos with #covidweddingchallenge share this list with friends facing wedding postponement! and to all the covid couples- your loved ones + your vendors are all on your side to navigate through this! 08.01.2022 I love what I do and celebrating with the amazing people I get to marry. To say this past week has been a challenge is an understatement. This week has been shit. Multiple weddings have been rescheduled which has been so tough on the couples who are planning and looking forward to their weddings. But in spite of this, EVERY ONE of the couples Ive talked to has been positive and absolutely lovely. Honestly, Im taking a moment to consider how lucky I am. Im so happy I get to work with these people and I am glad that Ill get to marry them when that day comes
