22.01.2022 If the CRs in your local area are not currently meeting due to COVID-19 restrictions and are also not offering Celebrate Recovery Crisis Response (CRCR) online ...groups and you need to find a meeting to join, we have compiled a list of CRs that are currently offering CRCR groups. Go to celebraterecovery.com and click on CR Crisis Response>CRCR Group List to find a meeting. This information is not updated regularly, so please call the listed contact to confirm they are still holding CRCR Groups, and to receive details and protocols at the given church, as every group is handling newcomers and groups in differently. The ideal is to connect with a group you can join physically when their CR is open. If this isnt possible, join a CRCR group for now, then get involved in a local CR when they reopen. *Please leave a voicemail if no answer, as some people screen their calls and do not answer numbers they do not recognize. During this difficult time, bringing hope and healing through Jesus Christ and the ministry of CR, and doing so safely for a participant, continues to be our top priority. Restrictions as a result of COVID-19 have greatly impaired our ability to meet together, which is critical to our process. Therefore, we have outlined guidelines and a process for offering CRCR online groups through local CR ministries. Although the DNA of CR states that online groups are not permitted, as we believe that face-to-face meetings are the safest way to meet, we decided the emotional damage from the isolation caused by the restrictions was too great and we had to do something different. CRCR Groups are overseen by local CR Ministry Leaders. At celebraterecovery.com, click on CRCR to find Facebook Live videos, documents, training videos, and FAQs about leading and/or attending CRCR groups. If you are a newcomer, we pray you will reach out to a local group and get connected, and if you have been involved in CR for a while, that you will continue to stay connected. Maybe because... of pain or some more noble pursuit, we protect these areas and keep them locked inside. However, our Heavenly Father wants to unlock our lives and help us with our hurts. The Psalmist in Psalm 51:15 knew the power of unlocking our freedom when they said: Lord God, unlock my heart, unlock my lips, and I will overcome with my joyous praise!
