24.01.2022 So. This show starts tonight. I'll be excited to see some of the transformations. But please, before you ask...... Chances are very high that, no, I cannot do that to your dog. Haha. Hope you enjoy the talent as much as I will be

23.01.2022 I would just like to let everyone know, that I am fully booked until after Christmas, apart from 1 small dog groom available on Saturday 21st that is $60.

23.01.2022 Something to keep in mind this festive season.

23.01.2022 If you get the chance to watch this, please do. He's extremely good at what he does. Channel 7 at 7.30

21.01.2022 I’m devastated to find out that one of our most intense/critically ill patients from last week lost his battle over the weekend. Another young, beautiful doggo ...lost to cycad toxicity. These plants are killers! Every part of the tree is extremely toxic to dogs and I personally believe that they should come with huge warning tags or not be sold at all. Ingestion results in liver failure and it happens very quickly. Even under specialist Veterinary care, the mortality rate on cycad toxicity patients is extremely high. Please, please, PLEASE don’t have these in your garden if you have dogs! Let your friends and family know and be sure to share this with as many people as you can. I’m so sorry that we lost the fight little guy. You were an absolute legend EDIT: top left image is actually a Date Palm (not a cycad). Sorry for the confusion! Cycads are also known as Sago Palms but are not actually a species of palm. Please check if you’re concerned/unsure. UPDATE: just had a 3rd cycad patient admitted to our ICU in the space of 3 weeks. Sadly, it’s quite common for pets to chew on/ingest plants.... this post is simply to create awareness on just how incredibly toxic this particular plant is. Your dog may stay away from plants (and that’s fantastic) but please share the info to help save those who don’t. See more

18.01.2022 Lockdown advice Just thought I would try and keep you updated. If you have a dog with a medium to long coat and don't have both of these tools at home. Please add them to your shopping list. If we go into total lockdown, according to groomers overseas, we are not deemed to be a 'neccessary' service. Therefore will be forced to close. This means your furry friend is totally relying on you to keep them knot free and comfortable. You will not be able to achieve that without the...se 2 tools. (Kmart has affordable options). We will all have plenty of extra time on our hands, so please spare a bit of that for your dog, and fully brush 'and' comb them out at least once a week. I'm hoping to be able to stay open for a few weeks yet. But it's only a matter of time. If it comes to that and you need any advice, I'm only a message or call away. Stay healthy everyone. And please don't forget your furry friends See more

11.01.2022 I would just like to address the situation we are in with the Coronavirus. If anyone is concerned about it, I have the ability to set it up so there is zero contact on drop off and pick up and payment can be made by bank transfer. Please let me know before arrival if you would like to do things this way. I understand people have elderly relatives and other susceptible people living with them and it is no problem for me at all.

11.01.2022 I would just like to let everyone know that I will be closed for a break from Jan 25th to Feb 3rd. Sorry for any inconvenience.I would just like to let everyone know that I will be closed for a break from Jan 25th to Feb 3rd. Sorry for any inconvenience.

10.01.2022 Bentley came for a nice warm bath and blow dry. Great for maintenance over the colder months, and usually takes less than an hour. Includes a nail trim, pad shave (to stop slipping on hard floors), and a trim in the corner of the eyes. $25 for a dog like Bentley. For an extra $10 you can have a feet, face and hygiene tidy included.

08.01.2022 Warning for dog owners on toxicity causing kidney failure from feeding dried jerky style treats of Asian origin. There is currently an increased number of pets ...presenting to vets in Australia with kidney troubles caused by an unknown toxin from these treats. Dr Glenn explains what’s going on in the video and also in More depth in his podcast, the MyPet Podcast. https://soundcloud.com//mypet-podcast-deadly-dog-treats-re See more

06.01.2022 Just a heads up, for dogs afraid of thunder. Big storms predicted this afternoon.

06.01.2022 Just a heads up. Remember your pets

03.01.2022 Just want to let everyone know that I am fully booked almost 2 weeks in advance. Next week is totally full and the week starting 16th is now filling fast. Please be prepared and think ahead for your bookings to avoid disappointment. And a quick reminder also that the $5 price rise is now in effect. Permanent 6 to 8 weekly bookings do get a discount Thanks

02.01.2022 just wanted to let people know that I'm booking out really early now. This week is already fully booked and I only have 4 weekday appointments and 3 Saturday ($10 extra) available next week. If your little mate is looking like they're nearly due, might be a good idea to think ahead to a day that suits.

02.01.2022 Fee update. Discount When it applies:- * when full grooms are completed at 8 weeks or less. When it doesn't apply:-... * if your booking is more than 8 weeks after your last groom. (This includes 8 weeks and 1 day. 8 weeks is the cutoff) * If you book an appointment, forget to come, and the rebooking date is outside of 8 weeks. * If you reschedule and it goes outside of 8 weeks. My minimum fee for small full grooms "outside" of 8 weeks is $50 for weekdays and $60 for Saturdays. Rebooking at your previous booking is the best way to ensure you recieve the discount. The busy season has arrived early and I'm currently booked up to 2 weeks in advance. Christmas is only 16 weeks away, so in grooming terms there's only 2 to go Thanks everyone. See you soon.
