Both girls AND Chris and I were dancing in the kitchen as this easy beat flowed from the speakers. 06.01.2022 New week, new beginnings We're based in Melbourne (Frankston South to be precise), and so we are feeling the full effect of stage 4 restrictions. Weekends were there to relax and reset. I also have hashimotos, an autoimmune disease, and I'm starting to realise that it's taking its toll on my body and mind. I'm going to have to make a few (more) changes. 01.01.2022 Have you been ever told you are too much? Or maybe too less? Especially in these times, there is the notion that we need to be content with less. But I disagree. On the contrary, in these times, I believe we should be proactively dismantling and reimagining difunctional power structures and thought patterns to invent a new way forward. A way that empowers women to strive and grow and blossom. Here are some questions I would love our leaders to discuss. ... 1/ What would happen if we put Mother Earth at the centre of all decisions? 2/ What would be the effects (positive or negative) if white settlers paid their overdue rent to the xx owners of our land? 3/ Why do we limit ourselves to a two party system? 4/ Why a limited annual budget? 5/ Why not put care at the fore front of the economy? 6/ Why not prioritise and empower artists to express their voices and contribute to our society. How can we quantify the effects of expression and the joy it brings to society. Is because we can't measure it in $$ that we don't? 7/ And why not a universal income? I don't know the answers but I want to have the discussions and live in a country in which the people dared to achieve to the optimal and not led by fears and century old power structures thatl dampen the aspirations of the less powerful.
