03.01.2022 "I work for disAbility Living Inc as a Community Support worker, where I help people with disabilities with a range of activities in their daily living. I am p...assionate about working with people. I was working as security in a hospital where I couldn't approach people or encourage them. If they needed something I had to call on the nurses. That’s why I decided to change my career to be as disability support worker to allow me to work WITH people and to better understand what they needed. I try to remember the five simple rules to be happy: 1. Free your heart from hatred. 2. Free your mind from worries. 3. Live Simply. 4. Give more. 5. Expect less." - Mokero, disAbility Living Inc A huge #HereForSA thank you to Mokero - who changed his entire career path to follow his passion for helping others. We're particularly thankful for his five rules of happiness - which are a great reminder of how we can stay resilient during a very difficult year. Learn more about the campaign at bit.ly/HereForSA
