17.01.2022 We hold School Wellbeing Programs for the Wagga Wagga Catholic Diocese which help meet the needs of children, families and school staff to enhance their wellbeing and development. The FRIENDS Programs are for children aged between 4-7 years and 8-11 years old and are endorsed by the World Health Organisation as the best practice for the prevention and treatment of anxiety and depression. Throughout COVID-19 there has been a rise in reported cases of domestic and family violence due to a number of factors. At Centacare, we understand the complexity of domestic and fami...ly violence and how it not only impacts yourself, but also your children and community. Centacare staff can work with you, with where you are at and can provide a safe space for you to discuss what’s happening with you. How we can help? Centacare has qualified counsellors that are well experienced working within the domestic and family violence space that ready to assist you on your journey. We are able to offer one on one face to face support, via phone or via telehealth. Centacare also identifies that sometimes our behaviour can get in the way of us fulfilling those dreams of being the best partner or dad and because of this is able to offer behavioural change support to address those behaviours that might be negatively impacting your family.
