22.01.2022 Thank you! Thanks to all of our beautiful clients for booking in with us through the year, and especially in this crazy end of year madness. We truly appreciate you We are now fully booked for the remainder of the year. If you cannot make your appointment, please let us know as soon as possible so we can try to fill the spot. Our waiting list is quite extensive, I won’t lie, but it is worth putting your name down as we do receive the odd cancellation. This is not a brag ...post, far from it! I’m very proud of our team, and the quality that is leaving the salon is just ah-mazing!! We have changed the way we work because of covid. We don’t rush, take our time, and the job is always done properly, and more often than not, have one on one time with you. We are down approximately 80 hours a week productivity time from last year, unfortunately my shoulder couldn’t wait. That’s a lot of appointment time we don’t have available this year per week. Abbie, Danica and Emma have all extended their hours in the lead up to Christmas to accommodate as well, please don’t ask them to ‘squeeze’ you in, or work another late night, they have gone above and beyond. 19.01.2022 ANNOUNCEMENT In light of the newest COVID-19 numbers today, 270 for Victoria, and with it starting to make an impact on Greater Bendigo, it is with sad sorrow I regret to inform you that Red Raven Studio will be closing our doors for at least two weeks. All clients booked in during this time, will be contacted, and put on a VIP list to be booked in again as soon as possible when we re-open. ... This is not a decision I have taken lightly, but please consider this our stand against COVID-19, and trying to do our part. I am not willing to risk you, my team, or our family and friends, the results could be horrific. We will be closing the salon from 5pm today. No appointments will be made until we confirm a date of return, but all appointments already booked will stay in place. I will be in contact with you day by day for these clients. I cant plan anything, I have no answers for the ones that need it most, and Im struggling to keep everybody happy. Ill be fine, I know I will. But, it is ok to not be ok. How are you? Are you ok?

18.01.2022 Hi guys! Sorry for being a little M.I.A. the last few weeks, its been very eventful! Thanks for all the patience over this time, it has been an extremely stressful time. I am totally saddened and upset with the amount of covid cases currently in Victoria. To put it into prospective, when we closed in March, the average cases were 50-70 per day, now, we are averaging 250-400 per day. Its no wonder we are a tad nervous. There are currently 8 active cases in Bendigo. The last... 6 months has taken a horrible toll on my body and mind. I have overthought things, stressed about the unknown, not slept and even ended up in hospital two weeks ago with stress induced vertigo. I am continually worried about the same issues with my team, and in turn, the effects it may have on the business. Nine years ago, I saw my husband on a ventilator, fighting to survive, and now only has half a good lung. No, it wasnt covid, but I would NEVER want to see any other person have to go through that. You can never unsee that. So for now, we are still closed. Hopefully the case numbers will reduce over the next week after mask wearing was made mandatory in the lockdown areas. With such uncertainty, we will not be rescheduling any appointments, or making new ones, until we know when EXACTLY we will be back. I understand that you may be anxious about your hair, but please, avoid colouring at home. We will be back. If it helps, I havent had mine done since January! we are all in this! To all the beautiful people who are supporting our decision, thank you so much! To the ones who think we jumped the gun, I hope this gives you better insight into how Im thinking. 16.01.2022 What a crazy, confusing and weird year 2020 has been! From the big plans we had for the year of sooooo much education, for both us and you, expanding RRS and going upstairs, (still my plan for 2021!), throw in shoulder surgery and holidays we couldn’t take. Bloody covid restrictions! It’s been eventful, that’s for sure! The support that has been shown to the salon is at times overwhelming. We closed the salon for a total of 16 weeks to keep our team and our lovely clients sa...fe and well. Our whole working structure has changed, and you have all been so accommodating. I would like to thank each and every one of you for the support and understanding during this time. It has been one of the toughest years in business for all business owners and staff. One I hope we never have to repeat! So as 2020 ends, and we look forward to all things new and refreshing in 2012, we also say goodbye to a Red Raven favourite. Abbie will be leaving RRS, with her last day yesterday. She will be leaving us for a bright future ahead. Stay tuned to all her details on social media for what she has install. I would like to thank her for all her hard work over the last few years within the salon. The little quirks we have gotten used to, her expressions and sayings we have all caught ourselves saying, and her endless love for her clients. 15.01.2022 We have received quite a few messages about upcoming appointments. We are currently closed until it seems safe to come back. Unfortunately, I have no crystal ball into the future ( who on earth saw that 700+ cases coming! ), and as a result, no return date just yet. And no, the other girls do not know either. 03.01.2022 While todays announcement was at no surprise really, (I have literally been glued to ABC, VIC GOV, Dan Andrews, Fairwork, Worksafe, ATO, watched every press release, etc. since closing the doors a few weeks back), it has truly saddened me. Red Raven WILL NOT reopen at this stage for another few weeks. With more cases being recorded today in the local area (currently 22), I cannot do it. Dan Andrews will tomorrow release more information regarding businesses, and yes, will ...be taken into consideration. We will be extending all gift vouchers (please do not stress about those!), appointments will not be cancelled, but it will place you on a VIP wait list. Unfortunately, we cannot help with formulas that we have used on you, these are at the salon, not on our cloud software. We will commence a delivery service again for product, I will sort this over the next few days. This decision is not only disappointing for you, but also for us.
