24.01.2022 Yes, most of the antibiotics nowadays are resistant to most bacteria that once were not. Like us, they (bacteria) also go through adaptations and evolutions. Us humans, when overuse these antibiotics for every single infection, yes they will evolve and become resistant. Then we complain that the antibiotics don't work. Think! It is interesting that the shape of the leaf has given it it's name, "Gotu" means cone shape and "kola" means leaves in Sinhalese where you can easily make a cone from this shape of leaf. This beautiful perennial plant is widely used in traditional medicine all around the world.
