25.01.2022 We appreciate your cooperation and patience at this time as we prioritise the health and safety of our staff and patients.

25.01.2022 Further to advice released on the weekend regarding the wearing of face masks within the community, please be reminded that the current rules for hospital visitors still apply. Masks must be worn by all visitors over 12 years. Face masks with an exhalation valve are not allowed as the valves cause the wearer to exhale potentially infected or contaminated droplets.... For those who cannot wear a mask, a face shield should be provided. Alternatively, visitors can bring their own cloth or single use mask. Visitors should wear the mask or shield at all times until they exit the hospital. Single use masks should be discarded immediately into a waste bin upon leaving the hospital. Thank you for your continued patience and cooperation as we word through this pandemic.

24.01.2022 Our Surgical Ward team is running a raffle to support nurses working on COVID-19 wards in the United Kingdom and America. Money raised from the raffle will be used to purchase satchels that will be filled with donated goods from our staff like lip balm, chocolates and hand cream to be used as care packages for these nurses on the frontline. It’s a small gesture of kindness for our overseas colleagues fighting this pandemic and a great way to keep in touch and show our support.

15.01.2022 It’s a simple ‘thank you’ that makes our work so worthwhile I would like to give a shout out to our CGH kitchen crew for the amazing service they provide. All the team are very welcoming, always saying hello with a smile whilst providing the most delicious food. From the yoghurt cups, roast meat rolls and now soup made from scratch. We are extremely lucky to have such an amazing food and service. To top it off, it’s Healthy Choices compliant. I wanted to show my appreciation not only to CGH, but to the kitchen crew for their tremendous hard work. Well done team! Anonymous fan.
