09.01.2022 The Woodies members donated $600 towards the farmers appeal. President Mike Hardie and Committee member Bob Cassidy intended presenting the money to Vicki Wilson (Town & Country Rural Supply). Vicki said that a group is packing up some hampers down at the Showground tomorrow & Friday for the farmers. She felt & we (Mike and Bob) agreed that the money would be better spent on what they call Shop A Dockets that must be spent in Bathurst. So they trotted off to the Visitor Info centre to get 24 x $25 Shop-a-Dockets from Wendy Grundy. They then trotted back to T & C & presented the 24 vouchers. They will then put them in the hampers this week.
