06.01.2022 PLEASE READ THIS IMPORTANT PUBLIC HEALTH ANNOUNCEMENT - Care of Darius Wingate-Pearse. Notice to all members the CCA relating to Covid-19 (Coronavirus) & Influenza In reference to NSW Dpt. Health and the AMA’s recommendations we need to be aware that the dojo is a potential high-risk area of virus spread due to the close physical contact during training.... We ask that all student and teachers observe the following procedures: Members should avoid coming to training if there is any risk that they may be carrying the virus, including: Feeling sick, coughing or sneezing: Suffering even mild symptoms (fever, cough, runny nose) Have recently travelled to known hot spots within the last 14 days Have been in contact with other persons that may have had the virus If unsure at all, please call the COVID-19 hotline for advice: 1800-022-222 If anyone becomes aware they have the virus or have been exposed to the virus and have trained, please notify the dojo ASAP (to provide a contact point) so members that may have been exposed can be advised. When arriving to the dojo: Wash your hands or use hand sanitiser as soon as possible. Wash your hands again prior to lining up. Wash your hands after each training session. In the dojo: Avoid touching your face, mouth, nose and eyes Please sneeze/cough into your Gi lapel or closed elbow then immediately was hands with hand sanitiser. Wipe down weapons before and after training with wipes provided at the dojo. Wipe/ clean common surfaces (ipads, taps door handles pens etc.) Use knuckles (not fingertips) to operate ipads as this is a high risk point. All members should bring their own drink bottles. We will not provide drinking glasses/ cups in the kitchen as appropriate washing cannot be guaranteed. Ensure your uniform is washed for each class. We will be washing the floor more regularly and using stronger disinfectant. If we all observe these procedures, we can minimise any chance of infection and not miss out on any training.

02.01.2022 Parking may be an issue this Saturday due to events on at the stadium. Alternative parking can be had at the pub, railway station or the scout hall. Training will be as usual Saturday timetable.
