07.01.2022 Well done Council. We hope that the provision of real jobs and commercial projects are given encouragement so that the Northern Corridor becomes more than a dormitory township.

01.01.2022 The Gold Coast City Council is currently deciding the future of a motorsport venue at Pimpama. At the moment the venue is restricted to using WRX rally cars a...nd mud buggies only - owner Ian Holm is asking council to legitimise the use of go karts and motorcycles on bitumen tracks, in order to allow for motorcycle, and eventually driver training for small cyclinder cars. That sticking point - financially has cost him everything - including his house and one million dollars to fight fund against council. If approval is denied on the grounds of noise concerns, he will have no choice but to pack up and leave Nicole headed out to the Pimpama track yesterday, and caught up with a clearly distressed owner Ian Holm, and operation manager Jeff Smith. You can hear her chat after 8.30 this morning...
