17.01.2022 Remembering the Red Ribbon Rebellion 167 years on. On this day in 1857 more than 10,000 diggers gathered at Camp Hill. They all wore red ribbons as a symbol of defiance against the Victorian governments license fee to search for gold on Crown Land.
