25.01.2022 It's time to update you all on Try out dates and times, remember that they may still change depending on what decisions are made by the government at a meeting tomorrow re the resumption of Basketball on Dec 1st. Kepp watch! Dates will be the 6th and 13th December Times are:... Under 10’s-(those born 2012 and younger) 8.30-9.45am Under 12’s-(those born 2010 / 2011) 8.30-9.45am Under 14’s-(those born 2008 / 2009) 10am-11.30am Under 16’s (those born 2006 / 2007)11.45-1.15am Under 18’s (those born 2004/ 2005) 1.30-3.00pm IMPORTANT NOTE, for all players, current Lions players or new players, can you please bring along a proof of age document. We need to sight it and sign off that you are in the correct age bracket. We only need to do this once, but we want to confirm all ages from season 2021 onwards.

You guys are now the leaders of our Junior program and with that comes higher expectations and a little more responsibility to lead our Junior Program and show the younger players in the club how to play and represent our club. We know you are up to the role and are excited to see what you will do in 2021! There will be more details to follow early in the new year with regards to starting dates of training and games.... 21.01.2022 Junior Trainings during the School Holidays will be as follows: Sunday 27th September Training as per normal Week One of the School Holidays there will be no team training, but we are running the intense clinics for those interested.... No Training over the Long Weekend Training resumes during the second week of school holidays as per normal training times. Some coaches may arrange sessions outside of these, but those coaches/team managers will arrange directly with players/parents. 17.01.2022 Hi all You would be starting to see teams appear over the last few days on TEAM APP (see the attached image for where to look if you are not sure). As explained over the weekend we are in the process of changing the names of the teams on TEAM APP to what you will be looking for when you go to the schedule. We are also listing the old name in brackets at the end of the name as we know this change is only very recent and there will be some that still use the old nomenclature.... i.e. Our Old Under 16 Boys Div 3, will now be known as DL- U16 Boys Div B Centrals 1 (Div 3) for the summer season at least. Training times will also be listed under each respective team Any questions, please just ask, we do understand it is different and a change but we want and are here to help. Send us a message.

11.01.2022 NBL ONE News: The club has accepted the resignation of Sean Richards, our NBL ONE womens coach. We thank Sean in what has been a challenging year for everyone, especially considering all COVID complications. Glen Hosking will step in as the caretaker coach for the remaining 2 games of the Adelaide Basketball Challenge Season.
