15.01.2022 Hi All, A big thankyou to all the parents who participated in the Parent Information night last night. I hope you all got a good time and gained some insight into the Auskick Program for 2018. This Saturday see the opening round for the Senior team. The senior team look very impressive this year. They have had a strong pre -season with two very good performance against two very strong teams in their pre-season matches. ... Round one sees our senior team competing against Wyndhamvale on our home turf. We would like to invite all Auskick participants to take part in running with the Senior team as they take the field as well as participate in a half time game experience. Expected arrival time 1:00pm -1:30pm (this gives us an opportunity to give each child a Spotswood football top, and to have a quick team meeting on the running of the day) The game starts at 2pm with the half time experience set for 3pm or (Half time). Depending on numbers, the children will be broken up into small groups. (With a briefing to take place during the second quarter) before they take the field. We will also use this opportunity to hand out the Spotswood Training tops. There is no need to register your interest for this weekend, just come along down to the club between 1:00pm and 1:30pm It will be a great day See you at the club Chloe and Fran Auskick co-ordinator

15.01.2022 I would like to start by saying thank you so much to spotswood football club for having me at auskick for the last 3 years. This year was been a fantastic year and that is all because you everyone that got involved in helping me run the centre. Thank you to every parent for bring understanding when I have been running behind it had forgotten something. Thank you to every parent that jump in and helped run a activity. Thank you to all patent for committing to the Auskickers session and coming week in and week out. I hope to see one at Spotswood next year either back at auskick in junior football. 15.01.2022 Hello to all auskick families for this year. I hope this post finds you well and enjoying the Easter break. I also hope there is some super excitement with Auskick only 13 days away till the start of the season, with this in mind we are running a parent information night on Wednesday the 11th of April (which is next week). This information session is going to run from 6.30pm for 40 minutes at the Spotswood football club , it will be ran by Joel tippet which is going to be ou...r new auskick champion. Joel will be down to the club every couple of Friday to help in making sure the new program can it rolled out without any issue. This new program is fantastic and will allow your children to have a more hands on experience with learning football skill through new games and skill lessons in smaller groups. For the new program to work we really need all parent to understand how the night will run and to be able to jump in a give a hand when needed so please try and come along on the Wednesday night. If you have any other questions about the night please do no hesitate to contact me. Lastly if you know of any families have not enrolled yet but are planning to please tell them about wednesday night so they can also come along. 14.01.2022 Donald McLean Reserve Updated plans for the Donald McLean Reserve Master Plan and Pavilion Concept Plan. Following on from the last tenant club meeting there will now be a community consultation period where all tenant clubs and the wider community will have the opportunity to provide feedback on the updated draft Master Plan and the draft Pavilion Concept Plan.... As part of this, a drop in session will take place at McLean Reserve on Wednesday 26 June. This session is open to the tenant clubs or anyone who is interested in finding out more and providing some feedback. You’re welcome to drop in at any time between 5-7pm at Spotswood Football Club. Below is a link to Council’s Participate section of the website. There you will find the updated draft Master Plan and draft Pavilion Concept Plan. Please take the time to look through these and I’d ask that you provide your feedback via the website portal as directed. https://participate.hobsonsbay.vic.gov.au/don-mclean-reserv The consultation period is open until Friday 12 July, so please ensure your Club’s feedback is submitted by then. 10.01.2022 AUSKICK PIE NIGHT This Friday 17th May is our Spotswood Auskick Pie & Movie night!!! After Auskick the kids will all be ushered into the home change rooms to watch a movie on the projector and have dinner together.... We will be providing party pies, sausage rolls juice box and an icecream for all our awesome Auskickers! Movie not decided yet but will be age appropriate and recent of course! Parents are welcome to sit with their children if they need supervision or relax in the club rooms during this time. Bring a cushion! Note: this is a very fun night for the kids. Sometimes they can get over excited and forget to respect the clubs property. Please remind your children that they are having a special night like the older kids, so we hope they keep the change rooms tidy and be responsible.

Spotswood Auskick pride themselves on kids building football skills, with all kids playing in a safe and secure environment. ... This year, we have a new group of coaches on board for a fantastic new season. With a calendar full of half time experiences, roadshow visits and AFL visits it is going to be an exciting new season. The season will kick off at 5:30pm on Friday 20th of April 2018. All sessions will run for an hour every Friday from the 20th of April 2018, to the 10th of August. To top things off we have new Spotswood training tops (Valued at $25) FREE for all Auskick participants who register before the 20th of April.
