25.01.2022 Welcome to Term 1 2020. How crazy is the dust? We are thankful for the rain recently but not happy about the heat. We hope all the students are ready to rock into the new school year and are looking forward to helping them to achieve their best. Norma and Katie will be back next week. We’ll see you then, otherwise please message or phone us to see how we can help you.

23.01.2022 Welcome back to Term 3! Tutoring is back in full swing this week. Our new tutoring room is ready at 21 Burraway Street and is a really comfortable, warm space to learn! I’m looking forward to seeing everyone again for more fun this term.

04.01.2022 It is with a heavy heart that I have made the decision to close Central West Tutoring for as long as the government advises that we all abide by the 1.5m social distancing rule. I have tried to stay open for as long as possible but it has proven to be incredibly difficult to work with this restriction when trying to help a child figure out a word that they are stumbling over while reading or hold their pencil correctly to improve their handwriting. Being over a metre away doe...sn’t work when trying to help someone work out where they went wrong in a maths equation, or work on an essay together. I apologize to all the kids who were counting on me to help, especially those with assignments due soon and those struggling with the new online learning arrangements. For those who have paid in advance, I am more than happy to credit your money towards sessions when we return (hopefully next term!) I don’t want to encourage people to be out and about if instead you could be safe and well at home. But, as I always say to my own children in tough times, it’s not for always, it’s just for now. Hopefully, things will be brighter and safer again soon and we will be able to continue to support your children’s learning. Until then, enjoy the time at home with each other and keep safe. x
