23.01.2022 The ability to capitalise on an opportunity or manage a crisis depends on a leader’s and board’s ability to recognise it, decide what to do about it, then execute quickly. Some companies do this better than others. Why? This year the Australian Centre for Business Growth undertook a landmark research study of the survival and growth of 582 small and medium Australian companies whose CEOs/MDs had been through one or more of our growth programs. We analysed the data to find out... which factors lead to company survival and growth. Dr Jana Matthews, Director of the Australian Centre for Business Growth shares some insights with Australian Institute of Company Directors, including highlighting some case studies from our program alumni: PrimeHyd, Oceanside Services, Waterline Projects, Australian Green Clean, Staughton Group, Monsoon Aquatics, Carpendale Commodities, Sealite and Bluedot Innovation.

They are growing rapidly and now have the tools and shared vision to manage their expansion and prepare for the next stage of growth. Our sights are already set on helping the next 1,000 companies drive growth and create more jobs in Australia!
