12.01.2022 5 helpful tips for our kids when their world feels a little overwhelming

10.01.2022 SELF CARE IS IMPORTANT It’s something we hear so often, yet many of us parents leave self care at the bottom of our priority list. Parenting a child on the Spectrum can be extremely demanding and challenging at times. As we fill up everyone else’s buckets, it can leave ours empty at the end of the day. Self care doesn’t need to be time consuming (we know routines can be busy). Instead, try taking something unimportant off your to do list today, take 3 deep breaths at the traffic lights, or enjoy that extra large coffee I take time to care for my own needs which makes me a better parent.
