Last night at a spill-over Senate Estimates hearing, Nita Green - Senator for Queensland asked him why his leadership team was putting so much pressure on posties. 13.01.2022 Problems at Australia Post go further than luxury watches. The Prime Minister needs to intervene further. Australia Post needs a whole reshuffle - the leadership team, including the Board, are out of step with the public, and out of touch with the workforce.

09.01.2022 The PM’s tirade against the CEO completely missed the rest of the leadership team, who not only have a role to play in the making of such significant financial decisions, but are also responsible for what is looking to be the most serious of degradations in service quality at Australia Post, ever lumped on the Australian public - not to mention some of the most concerning working conditions facing our members as you all continue to struggle with a workload that has quickly become unsafe and simply unmanageable. 02.01.2022 As we get closer to Christmas, posties are having to leave behind or bring back more and more parcels and letters. Christmas gifts, Christmas cards - school award presentation letters. No amount of overtime (or taxis on Sundays) can fix this executive crafted debacle that is the ADM. Our posties are exhausting themselves daily for their customers, and still can’t get it all done.... Australia Post is stealing Christmas from its workers and the public.

01.01.2022 Mr Rayner questioned Prime Minister Scott Morrison’s declaration he was appalled at Ms Holgate’s spending, saying the PM should reserve his disgust for every second day delivery plan. Pull down the smoke screen. The problems plaguing Australia Post goes further than luxury watches - and the entire leadership team, including the Board, need to be held responsible.

01.01.2022 In case you missed it, National Secretary Greg Rayner spoke with Jim Wilson on 2GB Drive this afternoon about the government's investigation in to executive expenditure at Australia Post. It's all well and good to be shocked and appalled with the extravagant spending occuring at Post - we are too - but if they're fair dinkum about restoring the public's confidence in this once great Australian institution, a real hard look needs to be taken at this delivery model that is failing its customers, failing the Australian public and failing its workforce.
