06.01.2022 How amazing are these women at WAGEC! Certus Projects had the honour of visiting the Women’s & Girls’ Emergency Centre WAGEC. WAGEC is a non for profit organisation helping women and families escape domestic violence and family violence in Sydney. We also acknowledge and recognise the hard work and commitment the staff undertake to support women in crisis. The skilled staff assists and facilitate programs such as career development, financial literacy, meditation & yoga..., art therapy and parenting programs to assist women in crisis to gain independence. Certus Projects are grateful to be able to provide ongoing support to WAGEC through providing services or donations. We are supporters of gender equality and violence against women. 05.01.2022 Some incredible photos of the precast lift over the weekend. Each precast was custom made with glass fibre reinforcement to reduce electrical conductivity in the cables. Consisting of 6 beams, each precast beam weighed over 40t and made the meticulous journey from the Hunter Valley to Sydney overnight. Due to the existing bridge, a 500t crane was required to lift each beam into place with precision.
